World Without End is a 2007 historical thriller by Ken Follett and the sequel to 1989’s The Pillars of the Earth. However, it doesn’t matter whichever you read first.
World Without End takes place in the same fictional town as Pillars of the Earth - Kingsbridge - and features the descendants of some of Pillars characters two centuries later in England in the fourteenth century. This new supersized story inspires the same question posed by its doorstop predecessor: Too fat to pick up, or too engrossing to put down?
The book evolves …

Well I have to admit one thing in all honesty. With this novel, a new storyteller is born who is destined to go places if “A theory of intelligence” leads him there.
Infact storyteller wouldn’t be an apt word for him; raconteur would be the perfect adjective to describe him. And he is none other than 22 year “thinking adult”, if I may put it that way, DCEiite whose name is Sachinn Garg. Now you may be wondering why an extra ‘n’ in “Sachinn”. Is he like those who believe in changing …

Well every word of it is indeed true. Though I have not read many Pakistani novelists but can say this piece of work would surely rank among the top class.

The White Tiger is a debut novel by Aravind Adiga which won him the Man Booker Prize of 2008.
I have never read anything like this before! The plot is simple but the writing style is refreshingly new. Who would have imagined an entrepreneur from Bangalore telling his life stories to the premier of China!!!!
The protaganist is Balram Halwai aka “Munna” (hindi word for boy) who hails from a very small village “Laxmangarh” in north India. Although Halwai means ”sweet maker” in hindi yet his father is a rickshaw puller. He earns …

Norwegian Wood is a 1987 novel by Japanese author Haruki Murakami.
Norwegian Wood is a Beatles song from which the book takes its title. It echoes throughout the novel, the melancholy tune and the sentiment imbuing the work. The Beatles sang:
“I once had a girl / or should I say / she once had me“; (amazing song; do listen to it )
Toru Watanabe (the main protagonist) is similarly unclear as to how he should consider his love for the two girls Naoko and Midori.
Naoko is beautiful, yet an emotionally troubled …
